People skills in sport and active leisure
Planning and preparing for personal exercise and nutrition
Lifestyle factors and how they affect health
There are currently no entry requirements, a good attitude and keen interest in sports is a must.
Assessments on vocational qualifications are carried out by practical assessment, portfolio and formal examination throughout the course.
Assessment on functional skills are carried out via formal examination with learners encouraged to achieve as high level as they can help with their progression on to further education or apprenticeships.
Weekly travel payments are paid into students bank accounts on a weekly basis to cover the weekly bus pass.
Further financial help and support is available and will be discussed on a individual basis dependant on individual needs and circumstances.
