Religious Education (Philosophy and Ethics) at BARR BEACON SCHOOL

Course description

This course attempts to answer the fundamental questions of the meaning and purpose of life. The course involves a study of the following topics: Nature of God, Religion and Science, Death and the Afterlife, Good and evil, Human Relationships, Medical Ethics, Poverty and Wealth and Peace and Justice. The assessment requirements are two written examinations and two pieces of coursework.
