Philosophy and Ethics A Level at Ormiston Forge Academy

Course description

The course is divided into two; Philosophy and Ethics. In Philosophy you will study questions such as:

‘How do we know we exist?’

‘Is there a God?’

‘Do we have a soul?’

Ethics will challenge your thoughts on how you determine what is right and wrong. It is a subject that will change the way you think.

This qualification will support candidates working towards careers in teaching, education as a whole, counselling, health care, law, criminology, social work, public services, business and more.

Entry requirements

Minimum grade B in GCSE Religious Studies and GCSE English, with C grades considered at the discretion of staff.
