Youth Work Level 2/3 Apprenticeship at Lambeth College

Course description

The Intermediate Level 2 Youth Work Apprenticeship involves youth and community support work such as art based activities, community / environmental projects, residential activities, outdoor education and sporting activities.
The Advanced Level 3 Youth Work Apprenticeship is for those wanting to progress their career within the youth sector, such as a council, local authority or charitable foundation that offers facilities and a support service to vulnerable teenagers.
Please note: You must be employed and working a minimum of 30 hours a week in order to enrol on an apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

Entry age: 16+.

All candidates need to have attained employment, and be working for a minimum of 30 hours per week under a contract of employment.

There is a minimum literacy and numeracy requirement which will be assessed prior to enrolment.

An Employer Agreement is needed as this is a work-based qualification.

Your offer is also subject to a successful interview.

Entry Criteria:

Level 3 – 5 GCSE qualifications at grades A* to D including English and Maths or
have completed an intermediate apprenticeship
Level 2 – 3 GCSE qualifications at grades E or above including English and Maths
