Media Studies A Level at Mulberry School for Girls

Course description

NO prior knowledge but a keen interest is required to study:

  • Film genre, including Thrillers and Horror films
  • Film making
  • Media Industries
  • New media technologies.
  • Music Video Practical Production
  • Contemporary Media Issues

The study of two media in relation to two of the following issues: -

  • Global Media
  • Media and Collective Identity
  • Contemporary Media Regulation

Course content

We use state of the art digital equipment and on-line activity.

Visits are arranged to the cinema, media displays and exhibitions.

Students must be prepared to stay after school when film - making.
