The course is based on a wide and interesting range of texts, both written and spoken. You will be encouraged to explore and analyse these texts in depth, and will also have the opportunity for creative and analytical writing of your own.

The course at A2 will also offer the opportunity to study a complete play by Shakespeare - perhaps your first opportunity to do this.

You learn to analyse and evaluate ways in which writers and speakers achieve their desired effects. Also, you will develop as a confident writer and speaker, putting into practice what you have learnt from your studies.
