Advanced Apprenticeship
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma Professional Cookery
- Functional Skills Maths Level 2

Length of the course - 18 months Approximately
During the Apprenticeship you will cover areas such as:
- Preparing and cooking meat, fish and poultry for different dishes
- Preparing cakes, pastry and desserts
- Preparing and cooking pasta
- Cooking soups and sauces
- Food safety & hygiene
Who is it for?
Hospitality and catering offers many career opportunities – in hotels, restaurants or pubs, at tourist attractions and abroad.

Jobs can be front of house like reception or food service, working closely with the public or behind the scene working in housekeeping or kitchens.

Entry requirements
In order to start a Hospitality Apprenticeship at either Level 2 or 3, you need to have a job or a placement in the industry as it is a work-based qualification.

Fully funded
Aged 19-23
Fully funded for employers with less than 1000 employees. For employers with 1000+ employees, please contact us for further details.
Aged 24 and over
Total People require employers to make a contribution towards the cost for all learners aged 24 years and over, embarking on an Apprenticeship
Future opportunities
After completing your Apprenticeship in Hospitality, you will be able to progress onto further qualifications or promote to higher positions including supervisor and managerial.
