Level 3 Certificate/ Subsidiary Diploma in Creative Media at Andover College

Course description

Projects including site-specific documentary work, on location shooting for a feature film project, short films for Film Festival. You will learn specific skills, including cinematography, editing, storyboards, sound design, writing and directing.
Particular benefits of this course include working with professional actors and crew on a feature film project, working with industry standard post production tools, film festival exposure, working with staff with 15+ years’ experience in the film industry.

Both first and second year students have the opportunity to undertake extra-curricular trips, which have in the past been Berlin, Prague, New York and day trips such as the Harry Potter Studio Tour.

No experience is necessary, however, we expect that you will have a passion for both media and film and would have a passion to make your own material. You do not have to have studied GCSE Media - just a commitment to working hard, a desire to be creative and an interest in a hands-on approach.
