Physics A-Level at Goole High School Academy
A Level Physics picks up where GCSE Science leaves off and quickly moves into areas at the cutting edge of research. The mechanics module makes use of all the maths that had no meaning at GCSE to explain how objects. Investigate how and why resistors work and look at alternating current.

The course consists of the following content:
- Particles, quantum phenomena and electricity
- Mechanics, materials and waves
- Fields and further mechanics
To start an AS Level course you should achieve at least 5 grade Cs at GCSE including BTECs. To start a Level 2 course, 4 GCSE passes are required. All courses expect a high level of commitment and hard work.
