NVQ IT User (ITQ) Level 1 - 2 (7574) Award/Certificate at Appleby Heritage Centre

Course description

Students need to complete a variety of units from the choice of 19.  For a Level 1 Award students must obtain at least 16 credits and 30 credits for Level 2.  An essential part of this course includes weekly external work placement in a suitably approved environment.  The work placement will be for a minimum of six months.

Assessment

Each unit is assessed separately so that unit certificates can be awarded where necessary. There are NO formal examinations. Candidates complete units by gathering together a portfolio of relevant evidence.

Progression for each module is through production of a portfolio.
