Electrotechnical Installation - Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 (EAOP) at Tameside College

Course description

This 4 Year Apprenticeship is intended to give you a full understanding of the skills and competencies required by working in the electro technical industry. The duties of an electrician are varied and interesting and can offer a challenging career. The training programme you will complete will provide the skills and knowledge needed to meet the standards and expectations of the Industry. As an apprentice you will learn about the technological requirements and changes that are statutory and non-statutory regulations and requirements and working practices in accordance with health and safety requirements. You will be producing evidence of work to standard and describing how this evidence relates to the performance objectives within each unit. Tameside College will deliver a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Installing Electro technical Systems and Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment), via work based learning and day release to college along with relevant Key Skills and Technical Certificate. Attendance to College will be as follows: 14 weeks in Year 1, 7 weeks in Year 2, 2 weeks in Year 3 and 1 week in Year 4 (final year of the programme).

Entry requirements

Maths, English and Science grade A*-C GCSE or equivalent.
