GCSE: Psychology at Stephenson Studio School
GCSE Psychology students study the OCR GCSE Psychology course.
In this course they cover three units:
- Unit B541 - Studies and Applications in Psychology 1 - this unit focuses on psychological topics such as obedience, sex and gender, memory, attachment and atypical behaviour.
- Unit B542 - Studies and Applications in Psychology 2 - this unit focuses on psychological topics such as criminal behaviour, perception, cognitive development, non-verbal communication and the self.
- Unit B543 - Research in Psychology - the final unit focuses on how psychologists plan, conduct and analyses investigations and gives students the opportunity to plan their own investigation.
