Vehicle Maintenance and Repiar - Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 (EAOP) at Tameside College

Course description

You will be dealing with more complex faults on all types of vehicles and identify how to repair them using sophisticated diagnostic equipment. You will carry out routine light vehicle maintenance, removing and replace engine units, auxiliary electrical units as well as chassis units and components whilst maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and adhering to Health and Safety regulations. Vehicle repair is challenging, hands on work and every vehicle will present a new problem to solve. Tameside College deliver an NVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair via work based learning and day release to college. You will also undertake relevant Key Skills and Technical Certificate. The minimum duration of the apprenticeship will be 12 months and full training will be provided by the employer.

Entry requirements

GCSE grades A*-C or equivalent.
