Level 2 Ready for Work in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at Kingston College

Course description

A one year, full -time course delivering all the skills and qualifications required to access a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance.

Course content

NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations, BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Engineering, Functional Skills/ GCSE in English or Mathematics in exceptional circumstances.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grade A*- D/9-3 including Mathematics, English and a Science subject.

Access to a work placement although not essential would be an advantage.

Successful candidates will ideally progress on to an Advanced Apprenticeship or continue with further study at Level 3.

    • The site at Kingston Hall Road is the College's main site and houses the Student Registry and Welfare departments as well as Deli KC and the ACT Theatre.  The Arena Sports facility and Arena Hair and Beauty are both attached to this building, which also houses the central administration facility for the College.
