Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Health and Social Care at Lincolnshire Regional College
The course is college based. During the academic year learners are required to complete a placement. To obtain the BTEC Diploma, you are expected to complete a number of mandatory units all of which are internally assessed by means of written work, projects, presentations etc.
There is no upper age limit and mature applicants are welcomed. 2 GCSEs at Grade C in an academic subject, (preferably English Language) and at least another subject at Grade D, or BTEC Level 1 Diploma and a satisfactory tutor reference. Applicants with less than the above may be accepted on the basis of their performance in a diagnostic entry test. A variety of compulsory placements in care settings are offered during the course. An enhanced CRB check will be required to work in these areas and settings.
