Biological molecules, cells, exchange / transport and biodiversity and

Energy transfers, organismal responses, genetics and gene expressions

(10% of the content will involve biological maths)

12 core / assessed practical activities.

Entry requirements

GCSE Grade B or above in Core and Additional Science / Biology

GCSE Grade 6 or above in Maths.

Assessment

3 x written exams (all 2 hours) – total 6 hours (100% of qualification)

The third paper includes a 25 mark essay question.
