Music Technology Certificate - Level 2 at Hereward College

Course content

This vocationally-related qualification is for those candidates who are interested in music and the music industry. This course will provide you with the knowledge to understand the applications of music technology through exploring the use of ICT in music and using modern technology to master recording techniques. You will also learn digital sampling and hard disk recording techniques. This course will prepare you for employment in the industry through increasing your awareness of business practice.

Entry requirements

No formal qualifications are required for entry on the course, however, a music related qualification at Level 1 and/or the ability to play a musical instrument, would be beneficial but are not essential. Candidates must demonstrate an enthusiastic attitude to learning the subject of music.

Future opportunities

Progression to Level 3 related courses such as AS Level Music Technology.
