Interactive Media Level 3 BTEC 90 Credit Diploma at Westminster Kingsway College
This course is for those with a strong interest in computing and media, exploring the processes and ideas in the application of digital skills including creative image manipulation, sound, website design, 3D computer modelling, investigating the use of mobile technology and data management. You will also have the opportunity to learn programming principles and applications in computing and interactive media authoring laying foundations for the fundamentals of communication science.
Upon successful completion of this course you will have the opportunity to apply to the University of the Arts London Level 3 or 4 Foundation Diploma.
Four GCSEs at grade C or above or an equivalent Level 2 qualification at grade Merit or above with Functional Skills Maths and English at Level 2 and a good reference. If you do not already have qualifications in English and Maths you will need to do a short test. We encourage all applicants to provide evidence of previous experience in sound recording, music production, graphics, web design, photography or video making.
If successful on this course in year 1, you can progress to the University of the Arts London Level 3 or 4 Foundation Diploma also at Westminster Kingsway College in year 2. With further training or study, you could go into a wide range of careers in this sector.
