Photography As / A2 at The Hermitage Academy

Course description

At The Hermitage Academy Photography begins with a short course on the use of various pieces of high tech kit. It’s an extremely practical course where you are designing shots and coming up with ideas, eventually producing a portfolio of work for submission.

Unit 1 - Investigating and exploring photography with a concentration on fashion photography, street abstract and experimental imagery, with full instruction in the use of cameras and various lenses and lighting situations.
Unit 2 - Externally set assignment.

Unit 3 - Personal study looking at an aspect of photography and lens based media that intrigues you. You are expected to design a portfolio of work and studies to complement your written extracts.
Unit 4 - Final external assignment.
