If you want to develop all the essential enterprising skills you’ll need to succeed with a focus on the legal profession, this course is an ideal place to begin. You’ll focus on all the ins and outs of business law, as well as looking at the common pitfalls that affect businesses both large and small. You’ll learn about every aspect of the business world, including marketing, finance and human resource management, while exploring how each of these areas interacts with the legal profession. Every unit of this diploma is designed to help you develop the tools and resources you’ll need to develop a rewarding career in business, with opportunities to enhance your management skills and create a long-term plan for your future.

Assessment for this course is solely focused on specific assignments with each topic. Every assignment will be different, and could involve group work or role plays, individual presentations or written course work.

    • Nicholls Campus offers courses for school leavers, adults and university level students. Subject areas include business, care, IT, nursing and medical sciences. The campus is home to the Arden School of Theatre, offering professional training in the performing arts as part of The Manchester College. The campus also hosts courses in skills for life and independent living for students with learning difficulties.

      Nicholls Campus is a specialist centre for sport. It’s home to the Nicholls Community Football Centre of Excellence and the college’s Sports Academies in football, rugby and basketball.

      Ardwick is close to Manchester’s city centre and the city's universities. Nicholls Campus includes an impressive Grade II listed building with its own gardens. There’s a small park within walking distance of the campus and a green space across the road.

      The nearby Manchester Apollo is a 3,500 capacity live music venue. Sportcity and the City of Manchester Stadium are five minutes away by car. There are a post office, supermarket and other shops nearby. The campus is on a main bus route from the city centre and is close to Ardwick train station.
