Course description

Is designed for those who have technical skills but who are looking to learn the theory of arboriculture.

Course content includes:

  • Tree climbing and pruning operations
  • Tree felling and chainsaw maintenance
  • Tree Biology, Physiology
  • The selection, supply, planting and aftercare of plants
  • Carrying out tree inspection surveys and understanding statute and common law
  • Woodlands and Forestry Including Ecology

Entry requirements

Successful completion of a Level 2 Horticultural course or 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C or relevant industry knowledge.
