Hospitality and Catering - Apprenticeship Level 2 (EAOP) at Tameside College

Course description

You will be working as part of the Food Preparation team, preparing and cooking a wide range of food to include fish, meat and poultry; vegetables, hot and cold desserts, cold starters and salads. As a team member you will ensure that you are working in a safe, hygienic and secure manner. Tameside College will deliver a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Kitchen Services & Professional Cookery via work based learning and day release to College. You will also undertake relevant Key Skills and Technical Certificate. The minimum duration of the apprenticeship will be 12 months and full training will be provided by the employer. Apprentices will need to purchase a chef uniform and knife kit.

Entry requirements

GCSE grade A*-C Maths & English or equivalent.
