Accounting AAT Certificate level 2 Diploma at Buxton & Leek College

Course description

This introductory level is where you’ll get to develop your skills in finance administration: double-entry bookkeeping, basic costing principles and purchase, sales and general ledgers. The course is suitable for students who work in a financial environment and want to improve their knowledge and understanding of accounting and students who have a good basic level of Maths and English (to at least GCSE), and wish to find a job within the accounting environment.

Course content

The AAT Accounting Qualification proves to future employers that you have accountancy expertise and skills to turn theory in to practice. It is recognised throughout the world as a sign of your talent and effectiveness. All of our tutors are fully qualified accountants with industry experience.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE grade C in Maths and English
  • Experience within the finance function is preferable

Assessment

You’ll be assessed through computer based exams and assessments

Future opportunities

You could progress onto the Level 3 ATT Diploma in Accounting.
