Health & Social Care BTEC Subsidiary Diploma/ Diploma Level 3 at Smith's Wood Sports College
This course will last for 2 years.
It is suitable for those students who want to gain a Level 3 qualification in preparation for further study. Also for students who want to prepare themselves for entry to employment, especially in this sector. Students will be likely to succeed if they have achieved at least a merit grade in their Level 2 BTEC course.
Modules include: developing effective communication, health, safety and security, equality, diversity and rights, anatomy and physiology for health and social care, development through the life stages and public health.
Entry requirements to Level 3 courses are 5 A to C grades at GCSE, including English and Maths.
Coursework tasks are worth 100% of the final marks.
