Professional Cookery VRQ Diploma Level 3 at Waltham Forest College
This course is for Level 3 catering and hospitality students who are intending to go into the catering industry. We have strong links to the catering and hospitality industry and provide excellent theoretical and practical experience that you will need to work in the industry or progress to higher education.
You will study producing kitchen and larder dishes (eg soups, meat, poultry, sauces), hot and cold deserts and pastry to an advanced level.
4 GCSE C grade and above
relevant cooking skills
or progression from VRQ Level 2
Course work, assesments throughout the year and an end of year written and practical exam.
This course leads to either employment into the industry or to further study at university.
