Performing and Production Arts Production Arts Level 2 Diploma at Lincoln College

Course description

If you want to pursue a career in performing arts then this is an excellent place to start. This course will provide you with the underpinning skills and knowledge to progress through the levels of performance, acting, dance and technical theatre.
Upon successful completion, you will be able to progress ono a Level 3 course, enabling you to further develop your skills and knowledge on all aspects of your chosen profession.
During the course, you will study: working in a theatre setting; the different types of jobs available; developing your skills in practice and production and developing personal skills.

 

Entry requirements

You will need 3 GCSE’s including English Language (minimum Grade D) or equivalent qualifications. 
You will be required to attend an interview, where you have an audition. You are also required to provide a reference (from an employer or recent school/college report).

Assessment

Assessment is a combination of individual meetings and formal assessments, where work is submitted for grading.
