Health & Social Care A Level at Chilwell School

Course description

Health and Social Care will provide you with transferrable skills that are highly valued within a range of vocational settings. For example, psychiatric nursing, midwifery, social work and the police force are all professions that require social understanding. This qualification will also give you an awareness of contemporary issues within health and social care. It is not necessary to have studied health and social care before, and this qualification compliments other A levels.

Entry requirements

Additional entry requirements: Students will need a minimum grade C GCSE English language

Assessment

The qualification is unit based and will be assessed through portfolio building and written examination.
