Course description

This courses enables you to develop your own thinking and research methods. It will provide you with a good knowledge in using different practical skills when carrying out investigations, as well as a lively and enquiring mind, a willingness to explore new ideas and an ability to communicate your ideas effectively.

Work Experience in Travel and Tourism

The nature of this course will mean going out and visiting attractions!


To achieve this qualification, you must complete a total of four units: The assessment will comprise of two portfolios (Coursework), a Case study investigation and an examination.

This qualification is suitable for learners intending to pursue any career in which an understanding of Tourism or any related subject is needed. It is also suitable for students wishing to pursue a career or higher education in the Travel and Tourism sector, as well as other related subjects i.e. Business, Hospitality and Event Management. It will provide learners with a range of transferable skills such as problem solving and analytical thinking. It is a most desirable qualification to obtain.
