Economics at Seaton Burn College
You will study 2 units that cover both micro and macro-economics. You will gain an appreciation of the allocation of resources, the market model and what makes markets efficient or sees them fail. You will also see how levels of macro-economic activity are determined and also investigate key national and international economic indicators, policies and problems.
You will gain an understanding of the economics of work and leisure. You will also learn the conceptual framework for the understanding, analysis, and evaluation ofmacro-economic performance in national, regional and global contexts.
At least 5 GCSE grades A* to C including a grade B in English and Maths.
