Mathematics A-Level *FEES PAYABLE* at St Mary's Senior School

Course description

Aims of the Course • To develop an understanding of Mathematics and mathematical processes - promoting confidence. • To develop the ability to reason logically, and to recognise incorrect arguments. • To appreciate the connections between different aspects of the subject. • To appreciate the ability of Mathematics to answer questions posed within the context of the ‘real world’. • To find enjoyment from developing skills and techniques and using them to solve problems.

Entry requirements

It is expected that you will achieve an A Grade at GCSE in the subjects that you wish to continue to AS Level.

If you are joining us for Sixth Form from another school we require that you achieve at least six A Grades and above at GCSE Level.
