ITQ Level 3 Apprenticeship at Knowsley Community College

Course description

You will learn how to use Microsoft Applications, such as Word Processing, Email, Internet and Intranets; how to install hardware and software, and carry out basic IT Maintenance. You will learn how computers are used in industry. Learning is based around practical tasks.

Entry requirements

Learners to complete Level 2 diagnostic assessments in English, Maths and IT (in most cases). All applicants will also have to complete a vocational aptitude test.

Financial information

You will be provided with all equipment for this course. Work is uploaded onto an electronic portfolio for assessment.

Future opportunities

Achievement of this qualification can help you to expand your career in your chosen occupational area through progression into supervisory, management or higher technical roles at work. You may also progress to further qualifications and training at Levels 4 or 5 such as Higher Apprenticeships, HNC / HND.
