Course description

This qualification provides a broad basis of study for the health and social care sector. It is designed to support progression to higher education when taken as part of a rogramme of study that includes other appropriate BTEC Nationals or A Levels

Entry requirements

6 GCSEs including Maths at Grade 4 or above, English Language at Grade 4 or above, and a further 4 or more subjects at Grade C or above (or Grade 4 or above). This pathway will usually involve two A levels and a BTEC course. Candidates must meet the subject specific requirements in order to study their chosen subjects. Candidates with a Grade 4 in Maths or English Language will be expected to continue their studies in these subjects with the aim of retaking and achieving a minimum of Grade 5.
