Skills for Further Learning and Employment (QCF) Certificate Entry Level 3 at St Helens College

Course description

This course is an excellent springboard for students who have a keen interest in the health care sector and are looking to improve their maths and English qualifications.

You'll work towards developing your employability skills, knowledge and personal growth.

Course content

During this course, you will cover the following:

  • Personal action planning
  • Anger management
  • Introduction to group and team working skills
  • Employability skills
  • Taking part in sport
  • Eating a balanced diet

Entry requirements

There is no entry requirements for this course.

English and maths forms an important part of your future, ensuring you achieve the best success in your chosen career. But don't worry, if you haven't got the desired grades, we will still have a course available for you.

Assessment

You will be assessed through written assessments, practical observations, witness statements, powerpoints and work booklets.

Financial information

f you are a school leaver, aged 16-18, (under the age of 19 on or before 31st August 2016), you do not pay tuition fees or examination and registration fees and may be eligible for additional support depending on your financial situation. 

Future opportunities

Once you have successfully completed this course and the maths and English requirements, you will have the opportunity to progress on to a higher stage of learning at level 1.
