Further Mathematics at Clyst Vale Community College

Course description

This course is an ideal basis for the study of Mathematics at University. On some courses Further Maths is a requirement.

The Course begins with a simple module on practical mathematics for problem solving and builds to complexand abstract mathematics by year 13. Class sizes are typically small, providing a supportive environment and many of the modules can be used to supplement the normal maths A level. The course we will be offering is the Mathematics in Education and Industry (MEI) Structured Mathematics Scheme.

If you expect to attain a grade A or A* in GCSE Mathematics, this could be the course for you
