Mathematics A Level at Sir Thomas Wharton Community College

Course description

This is a two year AS course for very able Mathematicians. You must have at least a Grade A in GCSE to consider this course. It would suit students who wish to study mathematics or a related course (physics, Computing, Engineering) at university. However, the advanced nature of the course makes it very prestigious and hence students wishing to apply to top universities should consider this option.
Students will take three additional Mathematics modules, which includes a compulsory “further maths” module.

Mathematics is a highly regarded course that compliments a magnitude of „A‟ Level combinations. Anyone can benefit from the logical thought processes and problem solving which underpin Mathematical Studies.
