Course description

Entry requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade A*- C or an appropriate vocational award. You will also need to be well organised and confident in English and Mathematics

Future opportunities

Later you might want to study.... Economics, Business Studies, Banking, Accountancy, Finance or a related course at Higher Education You could take this course to complement other advanced level courses such as Accounting or to prepare for the A2 part of an Advanced GCE in Business Studies, which could lead onto higher education in areas of business studies, marketing, accounting or more general higher education courses. With further training, you could go into a job related to business studies, marketing, finance and accounting, human resources and public relations. You could also go straight into a job as the AS GCE is a recognised qualification that would support a trainee management course within a company and help you develop the skills, understanding and experience to work towards management level.
