Supporting Teaching and Learning In Schools Level 2 Diploma at The Whitehaven Academy

Course description

This is a great course to support you in developing skills for working in school in a variety of roles such as: administration, site support, technical support and volunteering as well as roles working directly with children.

You will develop your knowledge in a wide range of areas to do with a child and young person’s development, behaviour, Health and Safety, communication and Safeguarding. These will involve studying a range of units which make up your qualification and relate directly to supporting children in an educational setting.

Entry requirements

You should be at least 16 years of age and ideally working or volunteering in a school environment (but this is not essential).

Coursework.

Future opportunities

This course will give you a good start in progression onto the Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. Beyond this you could continue to further study at Level 3 and eventually degree level.
