Entry requirements

Minimum 3 GCSE's graded A*-C in suitable subjects or equivalent qualifications.(to include maths, english and a science). Ability to complete a Level 2 BTEC qualification in Pharmaceutical Science recruited as a Pharmacy Assistant. Subject to an initial assessment if required additional support via College will be given.

Assessment

The BTEC and NVQ (e-portfolio) are taught and assessed by monthly visits from a tutor/assessor. Functional skills are delivered at the college via portfolio building and an end test for up to 6 days per functional skill.

Future opportunities

Following qualification and suitable work experience throughout the apprenticeship you are eligible for progression to an Advanced Apprenticeship.

      The site is situated on Talbot Road (A5014), 2 miles from M602 slip Road (Junction 3) and 2 miles from Junction 7 of the M60. The College is located opposite Lancashire County Cricket Club and approximately 10 minutes walk from Old Trafford Football Ground.
