Floristry: Level 2 Diploma - City & Guilds (NPTC) at The Learning Centre Bexley

Course description

This industry-recognised qualification will equip you with all you need to know to work as a competent commercial florist. Whether you want to work in a shop or from home, this course will cover every aspect. It is suitable for both beginners and learners with previous floristry experience. This 2-year course involves practical and theory tasks to aid learning. Regular homework will be expected. Part of the course involves 40 hours work experience (voluntary or paid) which must be completed to achieve the qualification. A portfolio of work, including photographs, evaluations and timed assessments of your designs will be compiled during the course. On January 22nd 2013 you will have a short computer based multiple choice test (daytime, venue TBA).


Entry requirements

Please note: Literacy and Numeracy at level 2 are required - please bring certificates with you. If you do not hold literacy and numeracy at level 2, you will be required to undertake an initial assessment.
