Geography AS Level at Chipping Campden School

Course description

The course provides an opportunity for students to develop a deeper appreciation and understanding of the world in which we live. Both the AS and A Level courses are designed to promote a balanced view of modern geography, which is concerned with examining patterns in the landscape, and the recurrent processes contributing to them. The course also allows students to examine current global issues, global governance and develop their investigative skills.

Water and carbon cycles and hazards

Entry requirements

A grade C or above in Geography GCSE (from the higher paper) or minimum C grades in both English Language and English Literature (A grade B is preferred in GCSE Geography).
