Business Extended Diploma at Lytham Sixth Form College

Course description

This practical course provides both a broad foundation of business education and a firm basis for specialism in a selected avenue. The first year aims to develop a range of skills, working practices and thought processes, with students encouraged to apply and develop these in their second year. There is an emphasis on developing employability and entrepreneurial skills, with ICT heavily embedded in the course to develop students’ knowledge of MS Office and other business software. The majority (80%) of students progress to Higher Education, many choosing the option to study a degree in either Management or Business and Financial Management.
