Course description

Media Studies at Burton College is an exciting, dynamic subject with excellent pass and achievement rates. Much of the success comes from the fact that students engage well with the contemporary subject matter. Students will learn how to analyse modern media forms, apply theoretical models to existing media texts and gain a broad understanding of the media industry and its sociological and psychological impact on audiences.

Entry requirements

You must have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, one of which must be English Language.
