Fashion & Textiles Design UAL Level 3 Diploma at LeSoCo

Course description

This course is divided into three parts: the exploratory stage is delivered by practical workshops and short intense projects, the pathway stage explores techniques in more depth and the confirmatory stage examines a major project. The programme includes compulsory Skills for Life subjects on English and mathematics, and we nurture your work experience capabilities too, so you receive all the expertise you need to be successful in your chosen specialist area. Practical experience activities might see you generate ideas with real clients, and get stuck into professional exhibitions and work sale processes, for instance.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grades A*-C; one of which must be GCSE English or GCSE Mathematics. Or successful completion of a Level 2 substantial qualification in a related subject - plus an initial assessment that indicates an appropriate level of English and mathematical ability, and a satisfactory reference.

Future opportunities

You will develop a conceptual and creative skillset, suitable for further study at degree level. You will also be given progression advice, including expert help with producing a suitable portfolio of work. This can strengthen your job application when you apply for work in design studios, fashion manufacturing, tailoring, pattern making and commissioned work.

How to apply

If you want to apply for this course, you will need to contact LeSoCo directly.
