Business Management & Enterprise BTEC Extended Diploma at Great Yarmouth College

Course description

This is your opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and an understanding of business in a lively, realistic and practical way. Covering a wide range of business topics, you will carry out research into business practices and complete exercises and projects. You will listen to talks from experienced business people and go on study visits to see how different businesses operate. Work placements are an important element and for successful students can often lead to full-time employment.

Entry requirements

Merit or Distinction at Level 2 in a relevant vocational area or five GCSEs at A*-C including English and mathematics (or Functional Skills Level 2)


The course is assessed throughout the year, using a portfolio of multimedia assignments
(written, oral, observation, presentation), matched to a Grading Criteria of Pass, Merit or Distinction.

Employment in a variety of fields including business administration, finance, recruitment / human resources and marketing, Higher Education Programmes, Advanced Apprenticeships
