Course description

Organic chemistry

Inorganic chemistry

  • Ionic, covalent and metallic bonding and intermolecular forces

Physical chemistry

  • Atomic structure
  • Kinetics
  • Thermodynamics
  • Equilibria
  • Acids and Bases

Entry requirements

You will need to gain an A grade in Chemistry or Double Science at GCSE to pursue this subject at AS and A2 Level.


Inorganic and physical chemistry - Written Exam - 2 hours

Organic and physical chemistry - Written Exam - 2 hours

Practical Skills, data handling and synopsis - Written Exam - 2 hours
