Course description

This course is the nationally recognised route to becoming an electrician. The C&G 2365 forms part of the training requirements for the electrical industry and is the most comprehensive electrician course available. The course covers many areas within electrotechnical industry, units such as principles of electrical science, electrical installations technology and health and safety within Building Services Engineering.

Entry requirements

You must have Cs in both maths and English. If youdon't have the entry requirements you can enroll on our PEO Level 1 course where the opportunity is available to raise your maths and English grades.

Assessment

You will be assessed by on-demand multiple choice tests (available through the City & Guilds assessment platform e-volve) and practical assignments.

Future opportunities

Successful completion of the course will allow you to seek employment as an electrician either for a construction company or working for yourself. Alternatively you may choose to continue your studies and progress to the level 3.
