Entry requirements

Good listening and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team is essential. You must have good basic writing and numeracy skills. Learners are expected to take part in group discussions and be able to present written work to a good standard.

Assessment

In order to achieve your qualification you must be assessed by someone who can judge whether or not your work meets the national standards. Your assessor will agree with you when to begin your assessments. If you don’t meet the standards the first time you are assessed you can take time to improve your skills and be assessed again when you are ready.
