A Level History at Hardenhuish School
History is a well-respected, academic qualification, providing a
wide range of transferable skills, in particular high-level
competence in understanding and analysing issues and events, a
talent for clear expression, putting forward ideas and arguments in
a concise manner and gathering, investigating and assessing
material in order to generate ideas.
Studying History A Level enables students to become confident,
well-informed citizens of the twenty first century
GCSE grade B in History. Students without GCSE History
will be considered with GCSE B grades in English Language
and English Literature.
