Customer Service - Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) at Babington Business College - Training for today

Course description

Customer Service programmes are intended for those people who work within the regulations of the organisation to support customer service with both internal and external customers. Some programmes aim to give the candidate formal recognition for their performance in the workplace and assess the knowledge and understanding of the key areas of Customer Service. The programmes aim to develop new skills increasing personal growth and improve working practice. A wide variety of skills are needed for Customer Service programmes, including identifying customers and what they value, patience, commitment to work, not being judgmental and an excellent telephone manner. At Advanced Apprenticeship Level learners will work towards two mandatory units plus six optional units from a wide selection of units and a Technical Certificate – two units. Functional Skills - English and Mathematics.

Entry requirements

No formal qualifications are required however learners would normally have achieved a Level 2 NVQ and must be employed in a customer service role. Individuals should demonstrate a committed and enthusiatic approach and be sufficiently motivated to achieve this framework. Individuals will complete a basic skills assessment test and those who display results at entry 3 or below will be provided with IAG supporting their needs and referral to the skills for life team.
