Geography A Level at Haydon Bridge Community High School and Sports College
Geography is the study and understanding of the complex interactions between humans and the world in which we live. It is at the core of much of what happens in the world and is essential to understand how the sustainable future of humanity can develop.
5 GCSE grades at A* - C (or equivalent), including Grade C or above in Geography.
There will be two examination papers, each 2 hours and 30 minutes.
There will also be a 3,000-4,000 word Geography Fieldwork Investigation report submitted and this is worth 20% of the A-level.
